Privacy Policy

Hibou has no accounts, no email list and no analytics. This page says what little data passes through it and what you can do about it.

What we process

• Wallet address. When you connect, your address is read in your browser to show your stake and rewards. It is not sent to our servers unless you submit an idea.
• Ideas. An idea you submit is stored with your address, the time and the source (site, MCP, onchain, X, x402) and is published on the Ideas page. Onchain ideas are permanent by nature.
• x402 payments. The signed USDG authorization (payer address, amount, nonce) is checked and settled onchain.
• Server logs. Our host keeps standard request logs (IP address, user agent, path) for security and operations, for a short period.

What we do not do

No tracking cookies, no advertising, no profiling, no sale of data. Blockchain reads go to a public RPC endpoint of Robinhood Chain.

GDPR

For users in the EU and UK: the legal basis for processing an idea is your request to submit it (performance of the service), and for logs our legitimate interest in running a secure site. You have the right to access, correct and erase data held off chain, to object, and to complain to your data protection authority. Write to us on X and we will remove an idea from the site and its store. Data written to a blockchain cannot be erased by anyone.

Processors

The site is hosted on Vercel. The idea queue is kept in a managed Redis store. Both process data on our behalf only.

Retention

Ideas stay as long as the project runs or until you ask for removal. Logs are kept by the host for its standard period.
